The Partnership Card is offering a welcome bonus of 1,000 points to new cardholders (or those who haven't held a Partnership Card for at least 6 months). Since each point is worth 1p, the value of this reward is £10 and is what you'd earn on £1,000 of regular Waitrose or John Lewis spending. The reward is delivered in the form of Waitrose/John Lewis vouchers within a month, and will come along with your next voucher issuance (February, June or October). How to Quality for the Bonus

In order to qualify, you must spend £500 (in one or more transactions). This spend is not restricted to John Lewis and Waitrose but can be made anywhere MasterCard is accepted. As an option you can use a £500 balance transfer to hit the target minimum instead, but the card charges a 2.9% fee for transferred balances—given the offer is for 18 months of no interest on transferred balances, we don't really recommend doing so. There are better balance transfer offers available in the market that offer longer 0 interest periods for no fee. Cash withdrawals, interest, fees, charges and returned purchases do not count towards the £500 minimum spent requirement.

Eligibility

If you have held a Partnership Card in the past 6 months, you won't be eligible for this offer. In order to qualify for the card, you must be at least 18 years old, a UK resident (not Channel Islands) and make at least £6,750 per year.

Partnership Card Rewards

Besides the current 1,000 bonus points on offer, the Partnership Card offers Waitrose and John Lewis shoppers 1 point on every £1 spent at John Lewis and Waitrose, and 1 point for every £2 of other spending. These points translate into a rewards rate of 1% on in-store shopping and 0.5% on purchases made elsewhere. Every 500 points earned is worth £5 in gift vouchers that can be redeemed at John Lewis or Waitrose.
