Editorial Guidelines

NimbleFins produces research and content meant to help consumers understand the sprawling UK personal finance market, covering topics from credit cards to insurance to energy to budgets. However, the information on NimbleFins does not constitute financial advice. Always do your own research in addition to reading our content to ensure a product is right for your specific circumstances.

Product Reviews

Our reviews are objective and fact based, based primarily on product details obtained by reading Policy Wordings (for insurance products), Summary Boxes (for credit cards), Terms & Conditions and other product documents.

Where possible, we try to identify the pros and cons of a product, how it compares to alternatives in the market and how best to use a product.

We are in the process of adding commentary on customer service to our reviews since many readers are interested in this information. Any opinions we express on customer service are not a guarantee of a company's customer service, but a collation of views and experiences as told by actual customers on publicly available sites such as Trustpilot.

A portion of our content generates revenues, but this does not impact the editorial opinions expressed. For example, some our "favourite" or highest-rated products are not able to generate any revenues for us, and vice versa.

Other Research

Other content we produce is based on independent data sources such as the Office for National Statistics and Gov.uk, as well as data gathered by surveying the relevant UK market.
