- Business objectives - what are your aims for the business? These should be SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely). We will grow sales by 5% in the first quarter, 20% in the second quarter (this is our busiest quarter), 8% in the third quarter and 4% in the fourth quarter.
