Endsleigh Car Insurance Overall Review
Originally started in 1965 by NUS (National Union of Students) to support affordable insurance for students, Endsleigh was voted "Best Student Insurance Provider" at the Insurance Choice Awards 2018. Endsleigh specialises in a wide range of cover for students and other young drivers, as well as short term car insurance (often needed by students when they're home for the holidays):

However, Endsleigh policies are lighter on some features than competing plans. For example, their personal belongings cover is only £100 and they don't provide accommodation if your car is involved in an accident, you can't drive it and you're far from home. Negative reviews focused on a few common themes, including difficulties with the online customer portal and admin fees.
"Absolutely useless. After more than a week of long phone calls We still haven’t got our new policy documents either by email, in my daughters account, or as promised, by post. I'm fed up with phoning. I've tried resetting PW, or using a number they gave over the phone for a user ID. Nothing works. All nice people in call centre but it’s still not sorted."
"I called endsleigh to cancel my policy a day after it was automatically renewed. I was told I would have to pay a cancellation fee of £30 to have it cancelled. Imagine less than 24hrs and I had sent them proof that I had already got a better deal with another provider."
