More Than Car Insurance Overall Review
More Than car insurance offers a solid set of features and has quite respectable customer reviews, so it's definitely worth checking prices to see if you can get a good deal from them.
In addition to features and customer satisfaction, More Than offers a robust online customer portal through which you can manage your account and even make some changes for free , such as changing your address—these changes would normally cost you £25 to make over the phone. We should note than anytime you make a change your risk profile changes, and your premium might go up as a result—admin charges, if there are any, are separate to this premium difference. But just because there's no admin charge for an online change doesn't mean you won't need to pay something for the change.
We took a look at the comprehensive More Than policies through available through their website and found they offer most "must have" categories as set out by the Money Advice Service. One slight difference between More Than policies and others in the market is that you need to pay an extra premium to extend your cover to the EU—most big insurance companies include 30 to 90 days as standard. If you're not planning any road trips abroad, however, this won't affect you and the fact that it's not included as standard might mean your premium is slightly lower as a result.

On Reviews.co.uk, customers have rated More Than with 4.3 stars, an even higher score. That said, one out of 5 customers gave More Than just 1 star on Trustpilot, with complaints ranging from long claims resolution times to higher renewal prices to difficulties with a black box in a car (e.g., trips taking a day or two to register, which can affect available mileage on a telematics plan).

More Than charges a cancellation fee whether they cancel after or even during the 14-day cooling off period. As for other changes to your policy, generally speaking you'll pay £25 to make a change such as changing your car or address (plus any additional premium required, of course) but some changes can be made online for free.
